My Computer? What's up?

Right now, I'm here at my Niece's House. She's still a lovely baby, about 2 weeks. Unfortunately or should I say, obviously, the DSL Connection here is down so I decided to use my phone.

My phone??

Using my other or my "backup" sim card (SMART), I was able to establish a 56-64K connection to the Internet. In other words, a little faster than an ordinary dial-up service.

You will be able to receive or achieve a DSL-speed connection, same price, if you have a 3G Phone.

With SMART's new promo, 10 pesos for 30 minutes, it's really cheap. GLOBE however, they charge .30 (cents) per kilobytes. Meaning, a 65 KB (Kilobytes) image here in Friendster is .30x65 = ??

I miss using the computer, posting on the forums, searching new songs, making websites, editing videos, burning my files to private cds, etc...

Anyway, wish me luck to have a computer!

Diana! Thanks for adding the pictures in my Friendster Account. Unfortunately, because i'm always visiting my Baby Niece, I always use their internet-enabled computer which has a fast connection, so I am able to backup the files in my phone to a CD. So in other words, anytime if I have time, I can upload our pictures in My Account, and yours to if you want, with a higher quality.

kForum 0.1 Development has started. Check out the screenshot below to see a preview. I created that theme from scratch... Very difficult. Especially when I use Fireworks for the first time. While developing kForum, Shareaza was working in background and downloading some mp3s. At last, Gnutella 1 is always working!

Do you think that, hmmm... maybe I am not going to update this blog anymore? I will, but I am planning to make my own bloging script. I finished creating kNews, but with some bugs. So, i am still fixing it along with kShoutBox. Since I am downloading UltraEdit right now, I guess I have no choice but to post something in this blog.

A New website that is MySQL driven!

2004 had been a really busy Year. Now, 2005, I'm planning to learn more about PHP especially in MySQL. So, the plan is, to create my own website using my own CMS(Content Management System)! It will be using MySQL! Wish me luck! And also, probably on that CMS, it has a built-in ShoutBox and Blogging support. I wanted to run my own blog, but it really makes me feel comfortable here on Blogger.com!

Planning to install Red Hat Linux 9 on my PC :: for computer geeks ::

Last time when I'm installing Red Hat Linux 9 on my PC, the installer does not detect my USB keyboard. So, I'm planning to buy a USB to PS/2 port converter, then after than, I shall install Linux 9 on my PC.

What do you think? Because I am really pissed off with Windows. Why? After installing Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2, it ran really fast. After a week, it ran a little slow. After many months, it's really really slow! God! I have no spywares on my pc, because I'm using Firefox! And I always defrag my hard disk...

After researching on open forums about linux, they said that Linux is very stable. Let's see about that.

Too lazy... Anyways, I'm really happy when I had purchased Reloaded Internet Card. For only 100 pesos, I have 30 hours with free internet access between 12 am up to 8 am. Wow!

I was wondering why every halloween, Me and my Family dosen't visit our province. So, after the last day of our school, I asked my Grandfather that question. He said, "We haven't got any province. Our province is here, in Marikina". I said to myself, "Ok. That's good."

Our teacher in English, Mr. Daniel P. Yuson, wants us to write something in our journals. Well, since I'm too lazy to write, I have decided to write my journal on the internet. And this is it. My Blog.

I'm planning to use some little "Tagalog" words in my future posts because when I'm speaking in English, my nose bleeds!

At Last! It's our break!

That's right! I have no clasess for about a week, so I'm very happy. Last night, my Tito had celebrated his Birthday, so we ate (past tense of eat) at Tuna-to-Go. The foods are excellent. We were in a little private room, with a Karaoke machine. They sang songs, except me, I'm not in the mood to sing. Ok, that's it for now.

Did you know that it took me 5 hours just to publish this post? Because while typing the first paragraph, I felt a little sleepy. So I decided to take a nap. Then, here I am. Posting this post to the internet.

Life, as we know it

Today is a very wonderful day. Probably because I slept last night at exactly 8:30 pm. Isn't that early? Today is the last day of our regular schooling. Tomorrow is our little exam, which is good for 3 days. After that, we will have our cute Halloween break. Because we will resume our classes at November 3. Ain't that cute?

Anyways, hope you enjoy living in this world, which is full of problems. But eventually, you will learn from that problems. Just be happy and always thank God no matter what happens in your life. Everything is meant to happen. I hope I can go out and celebrate Halloween. I love to dress-up like a little demon... Again, gotta go. Bye!

I just had many problems last Monday and until now. But I always tell my self that Life is full of problems. When you live in Earth, you will encounter many problems. I haven't checked my friendster account for about a week, and I was surprised that I have 8+ messages and 5+ testimonials. Maybe it's a message from God telling me that I'm not alone. It's the first time I have encounter that situation. I know, and I'm not stupid that there are "RUMORS" around the campus which is all about me. I don't care. They are not true. People who create those "RUMORS", probably no one cares for them. Anyways, it's a beautiful day, full of problems. Problems, problems, problems... Just be happy and everything would be A-Okay... Well, I just wanted to say that I have published my new website. I used a lot of PHP Scripting so that my website will be unique. Example, try visiting my website into different computers. Then click on a link. Let's say you clicked Pictures. At the address bar, what address do you see? http://www.karlo2.frandt.net/?/blablabla ? then try visiting my website into another computer, click that same link again. What do you see? isn't it different? Ok, I'm really tired, and I have to go to school tomorrow. So, good bye!

We went to Julie-lie with Japhet and his girlfriend. We ate (past tense of eat) a lot and laughed a lot. Then after eating and endless jokes, we went to the school again because we have a meeting in Theater Club. Japhet and I spoofed the play and we laughed a lot. Specially when we remake the character in the script who reads the scroll. Hehehe... I did bring my digital camera with me, and I will post in on my website soon. So, good bye for now! Theater Club Meeting

Yesterday, I attended the Theater Club Meeting. But the problem is, I'm late. Anyway, I'm the Director of the Visual Effects Department. Can you believe that? My job is to record the rehearsals and create a "Making of the Presentation" video clip. Just like you see in the Special Features of DVD's, The Making. So, I'm currently researching on the right camera angles, visual effects to use on the presentation. I'm a little nervous because I'm responsible for my staff's moves. Wish me luck!

My Adventure last October 7

After posting my first post on my blog, I went to school. But in the front gate, the Guards are blocking the way to enter the campus because we didn't wear our uniforms. So, a friend of mine (want a clue? he looks like this picture [click here to see it]), he saw me standing on the front of the gate. I told him to wait because I'm still finding a way to enter the school campus. After 10 minutes of waiting, the guard finally decided to let us enter the campus.

After entering the school campus, another friend of mine Andrew, asks "Tell me, what time are we going to Podium.". I told him "Probably at 10:30 or after the presentation of the 3rd Year students.". He told me "Ok. But I don't have enough money to go.". Then "Nash" reacted and told me "Me too. I also don't have enough money.". Then he always asks me the same question "In what time are we going to go to Podium? I don't have enough money!" for about 5-10 times! And I was really pissed off!

Then while we are walking along to see the presentation of the 1st Year Students, another friend of mine, "Jay-Kie" told me "Hey. I brought my car. Wanna go to the mall with me and my girl friend?". Then I replied "Ok. Why not?! Let's see...". Then we went to the school quadrangle to see the presentation of the 1st Year students. After watching the presentation, we talked about the plan to go to the mall.

While talking, we went to see his WONDERFUL CAR. But he told me and "Nash" to call his girl friend. We immediately called her, he went to the car and told "Jay-Kie" that she can't go with him because a friend of her might want her to come with her friend. "Jay-Kie" told his girl friend that It's ok. As long as she is happy. His girl friend replied "Are you sure that It's ok with you? Your not mad are you?". He replied "Of course I'm not mad. So, just enjoy.". I know that he's mad and pissed off.

Now while on the car and while we are going to leave the campus, the school guard blocked the way to the gates. He told us that we are not allowed to leave the school campus that time. "Jay-Kie" told the guard that He must return the car. But for us, Me, "Nash", and Andrew, we left the car and return to the campus.

While on the campus, I'm finding a way to get out. We did try to beg to the guard who's guarding the gates, but he's heart is like a stone! So, we went to another gate to leave the school campus. Just the same. We can't leave. While we are roaming the school campus and thinking a way to get out, I saw a wall, and an idea popped on my head. I told "Nash" that why don't we cross that wall. Andrew and "Nash" agreed.

We went on the Elementary building to see if we can cross that BIG wall. While we are planning, a group of Elementary students past by and we saw them that they are also going to cross that BIG wall. So, we planned again. We decided to go outside the window, which is the roof and the Elementary students jumped or cross on the wall. Well, for a first timer like me, I'm always thinking that this is like those shows in T.V like "Fear Factor" or "Extra Challenge". So, I also jumped. My pants are a little dirty. And my shoes are a little wet. Because I landed on a Grass which is very wet (like a pond) and full of dirty trash.

But fortunately, I survived. "Nash" and Andrew jumped also. Then we ran. I'm pretending to be a "Mulawin" meaning "Half human, half bird". I'm pretending that I'm flying. We laughed. After laughing, we planned to wait for "Jay-Kie" and his car. While waiting, "Nash" is telling us (Me and Andrew) that he must go to Infant Jesus (a school) so that he could see her girl friend. He repeated that for about 3 times. And I was pissed off!

Then "Jay-Kie" arrived. He told us that he was lonely because he was driving his car all alone. We laughed a little. So, that's the end of my little adventure. But I'm not yet finished! There's still a Part 2 of my little adventure. Don't worry I'll post it some other time. I'm so tired of typing.
